Mumbai: Government of India has released 8 ex-naval officers from Qatar jail, 7 officers have returned to India. In December last year, a Qatari court sentenced the officials to death in the Al Dahra Global Case, after which their sentences were commuted to life imprisonment. These officers were convicted on espionage charges.
After the naval officers returned, BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy sensationally claimed that Shahrukh Khan was behind the release of the jawans. Now Shahrukh Khan’s team has given an explanation on social media. Shah Rukh Khan’s team has clarified that he was not behind the release of the naval officers. Also, like the entire country, we too are happy with the release of the naval officers, Shahrukh’s team has said.
Sharing a post on Instagram, Shah Rukh’s team has revealed the matter. Indian Navy officers released from Qatar, in which Shahrukh Khan is said to be involved, but he has no hand in it. This release is due to the Government of India, it has nothing to do with Shah Rukh. Diplomacy comes naturally to Indian leaders.
